U open = 91mm metal ground screw is the most versatile tool on the market for anchoring 4x4 wood post into the ground, 4" x 4" actual size 3.5" x 3.5"=89*89mm, it's easy to remove and relocate.

Installation:
Hammer the screw in partly after measure, then start screwing it into the ground and keep screwing the ground screw in to the required height.
Just keep a level handy for the install as you'll need to make sure your keeping it on track and true when you first start screwing it in. Once it gets 1/2-3/4 the way in, there's no moving it left/right anymore.
The product is fit for sandy, clay or just plain dirt, you can screwing by a rebar (buy extra) and lock by M10 lag screw ( buy extra); hard rocky ground may be difficult, you may need to use others electric tooling. If the earth is really too dry to install, a water hose should make the installation easier.
